Hi there!

My name is Bianca Olivas and I’m 23 years young. I was born and raised in Arizona, but my family is originally from Spain! I grew up in a very artistic home where my family always encouraged my creative passions. I seemed to lose track of time and would put all of my effort into creative school assignments and artistic home projects. Even though I never had a graphic design class in high school, I knew that I wanted to pursue a career in design. Luckily, I found that opportunity with The Design School at Arizona State University. The graphic design program was like nothing I could have imagined, and I’m grateful for how much I’ve grown personally and professionally over the past 4 years. It was truly a life-changing experience.

As a designer, I draw inspiration from colors and shapes found in the natural world, innovative brands, powerful causes, and people all over the globe and their amazing experiences. The world is a beautiful place that has so much to offer if we just take the time to look and observe. I see visual communication as an outlet to share my voice and create meaningful design. As a curious creative motivated by potential, I plan to keep designing and obtaining every opportunity I can to learn and grow as a designer.

During my free time, I enjoy hiking, playing soccer and tennis, hanging out with friends and family, and watching Netflix. I am also a huge dog-lover, and I love traveling to new places. Traveling has always been a huge part of my life as I typically travel to Spain once a year to visit my family. My dream has always been to travel the world in order to immerse myself in different cultures and experiences.

I am available for full-time employment and freelance work so don’t be afraid to reach out! Feel free to contact me if you would like to collaborate on a design project, or just want to start a conversation. I’d love to get coffee and chat anytime. Shoot me an email at biancaolivasdesign@gmail.com and let’s get to work!
